QR Codes in the Classroom
Link to iPadography Site
QR Codes or "Quick Response" codes are similar to barcodes and extremely easy to create. You can scan a QR code with apps such as i-nigma or a smartphone, iPod touch or iPad and it will link you to information. This could be text, video, audio, an image or a web site. There are tons of ways to use these in the classroom and around your school.
With the combination of a QR code generator/printer and a QR code reader on your iPad you can design some pretty cool lessons. For
example, you could create QR codes for a subject like "line". The codes could lead students to the definition, example images, artist that excel at using this subject. You could even throw in one that doesn't fit and ask the students to identify it. Example
