Photography IntroductionOne of the great things about the iPad is the nice big screen and the ability to shoot photos/video and then carry them with you for viewing, slideshows or presentations. There are, however, a few things you should know about how to use the iPad camera to shoot photos and video.

Camera: Pre-Installed
This is the app you will use to shoot the vast majority of your photos and videos. Some applications allow you to shoot from within the app but I usually just go straight to the camera. First, make sure that the "Home" button is in your right hand. This will put the shutter button on the camera app below your right thumb and place the rear camera on top. If the shutter button is on botton you need to update your iOS!
>> Practice switching from the front and back cameras.
>> Practice switching between photo and video capture
>> Practice touching different parts of the screen to set exposure
>> Try turning the grid on to show you the rule of thirds. Try to line up your subject where the lines meet for a better composition
>> Practice moving between the camera and the photo library app
>> Never zoom! Just makes your image blurry.
